Special and cutting tools

GBZ develops and produces mainly special cutting tools with two cutting edges as well as jigs and fixtures. Cutting problems are evaluated by our own field technicians in the customers’ workshops and solved in a joint approach.

The GBZ deburring tool has been successfully used by customers for a long time. The focus is on the deburring of the backs of holes on flat and uneven surfaces. Hole edges are reliably deburred with only one operation, a circular movement of the tool or a changeover of the spindle is not necessary. Depending on the design of the insert, intersection ratios of up to 1: 1.7 and oblique holes of approx. 15 ° can be realized.

Graduated drilling tool for optimized manufacturing processes. Due to the special arrangement of cutting blades, machining by several tools was combined in a single drill.

Combined drilling/milling cutter for series production in the fittings industry (water meters).

This tool replaced a solid profiled HSS steel. The useful life and profitability were increased multiple times. The tool is used for a recessing operation for manufacturing the grooves in a steel casing for taking up turbine blades with an internal diameter of 2000mm.
